Steve Mlujeak

Steve lives in Pembroke Pines with his wife and two kids. He's been racing bikes for over 25 years and coaching all ages for the last 10 years. While serving in the Coast Guard, he raced his first race in Alaska and that was it! He was hooked on racing bikes. Over the next many years, he made it to the elite Cat. 1 ranks and qualified for the Olympic Trials in the years 2000 and 2004. Steve then became a full-time athlete and Team Captain for the U.S Armed Forces Team, which gave him the opportunity to race all over the world.

In 2012, after being asked to coach the kids of his friends, he started a junior cycling team, The Interactive Metronome Development Team. It quickly became the most dominating team in the state and southeast, and won multiple national and state championship titles. Steve now works coaching athletes, and building Top Step Development to get kids off their screens and onto bikes.

"I look back on my cycling career and can't help but give massive props to Steve for being the best junior development team director out there. He knows how to coach and develop any athlete so they reach their maximum potential.

I'm super excited to watch Top Step Development grow and develop the next era of junior cyclists!"
